This page was a bit of a challenge, because I was trying to depict a cluster of actions being made while Valamon was... busy talking I guess.

um

...ok look I am not proud of this chapter at all. I feel like I could have done so much better with it, but it is what it is.

Gosh dang, Leer
You quick thinking, tactical legend. Going to demonstrate some of those highly praised sabotage skills mid-commendation? Hahaha that's a bold move indeed

(side-note, you conveyed the actions and everything superbly. It was immediately clear what was going on, the page is paced perfectly, and it is all incredibly clever. I don't know what something better would look like because this is pretty much perfect (also Valamon's expressions are all absolutely glorious))

The way I see it, the enemy of "done" is "better." You could labor over this chapter for another year and keep making it better, but from what I've seen so far, this is a fine and enjoyable addition to the story.

With each chapter you write and draw, your skills improve. The future offers fresh opportunities to try things differently. If there are different methods or techniques you wish you had more time to try here, why not try them in that next chapter instead?

Specifically about this page, I think the fact that your frames of Valamon include nothing but himself help to show how self-absorbed he is. Meanwhile Leer and Vass frames are coupled together to link their actions. When the scene zooms out to take it all in, it feels like we're getting Leer's perspective of taking it all in. It's that tactical overview as he pieces together an escape for his team. Finally, we see Leer refocus on the conversation while Vass maneuvers to execute their unspoken plan.

Ya did good.
